About Rethink Breast Cancer

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

Rethink Breast Cancer is working hard to address the needs and challenges unique to women diagnosed with breast cancer in their 20s, 30s, and early 40s. Diagnosis during pregnancy, effects of chemotherapy on fertility, risk of early onset menopause or osteoporosis, feelings of isolation, questions about sexuality, childcare, employment and financial stability are some of the biggest issues experienced by young women facing a breast cancer diagnosis. Rethink has developed several innovative support programs to address the unique needs of younger patients, and to fill gaps in existing support services. And our one-of-a-kind research program fosters the talent of the most enterprising new breast cancer researchers in Canada.

WHERE THE FUNDS GO

Over the past seven years, Seek The Peak has raised over $200,000 for Rethink Breast Cancer. All funds raised from Seek the Peak will go directly to launch and support BC-based programs and researchers who are working towards the goal of finding a cure for breast cancer.
